Are Tiredness And Weakness In The Legs Side Effects Of Taking Lisinopril?

I have very tired and weak legs this summer to the extent that I cannot stand or walk very far. Doctors have exhausted testing for heart or artery causes. I have taken Lisinopril-HClTh for several years and wondering if my condition could be a side effect?

Hi,

Undue weakness may be due to hyponatremia or hypokalemia caused by Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ). Check serum electrolytes (sodium and potassium levels.)

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Tushar Kanti Biswas,
