Are There Any Side Effects Of Using Estrogen Cream For A 5year Old?
Hello,
My 5yr old son decided to use my mother's Estrogen cream as a lotion tonight. It is called TriEST (70(Estriol)/27(Estradial)/3(Estron) at 25mg/ml. My mother is pretty sure that he put on about 2-2 1/2ml on him. He said he put it on his legs, and it was wiped off within about 5 minutes because he asked my mother if the tube he used was lotion... Will this hurt him no longer than it was actually on him?

Absorption of oestrogen on applying to intact skin is minimal. Also the duration of exposure was less . there would not have been systemic absorption.
There is no cause for concern.
