Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Ibuprofen Or Benadryl ?

I m 40 & over the last few days I ve noticed a pink tinge on my toilet paper after urinating. I had intercourse with my husband last night & there was no discomfort. I am wondering however, if it may be related to the Ibuprofen or Benadryl I ve been taking? I m not due to begin menstrating for another week or so.

Hello,

Ibuprofen and Benadryl does not cause any side effect when used together. So, I don't think that the spotting is related to these medications. It can be related to the intercourse, or ovulation period.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
