Are There Any Adverse Effect Of Smelling Cologne Deeply For A 11 Month Old?

11.5 month old son, carrying a small bottle (0.5 oz) of men's cologne, dropped it and the bottle broke. No cuts, but he was chewing on the bottle as toddlers/yearlings are wont to do. Could smell a little cologne on his breath-but unknown if was from mouth contact with bottle or if there was any actual ingestion of cologne. This was 2.5 hours ago. No adverse symptoms since then. Recommendations?

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Slight intake of cologne is unlikely to cause any harm in baby.
Do not induce forceful vomiting: It will do more harm than goo.
If the baby is asymptomatic there is no cause for concern.
You can get a routine assessment by your Paediatrician.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
