Are The Results Of CMIA Tests On The 35th And 55th Days Of Exposure Conclusive?

Hi, I had sex with unknown women on Nov 5. I huged her in that both are nude and I don t know my penis touches her varigna. After that i weared condom then she did blowjob. I did oral sex with condom. I did CMIA test on 35th day and 55th day and it s negative. Here my question is do I need to do test again after 3months? After 3months what is change to get HIV positive?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
From your description, it appears that you had non-penetrative sex by just contact of penis with vagina and oral sex after wearing condom.
Under such a circumstance, HIV can only be transmitted if your penis has come in contact with her vaginal secretions. Otherwise, contact of HIV seems to be a remote possibility.
CMIA tests are done to look for both antibodies and P24 antigens during the window period. The window period for the CMIA test is 3-4 weeks. Since it is negative on 35th and 55th day, your HIV status is negative.
If you are doubtful with the result, you can get HIV status tested as per the recommendations after 6 months.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
