Are The Lumps Under Chin And Breaking Of Lips Connected?

I have a lump/ bump under my chin near my neck area that came about a week ago. It lasted for about a day and than disappeared. Just now it came back and im not sure what it could be from. Over the past month i have been breaking out really bad under my lip area and thought maybe they are connected?

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic,

Maybe both are connected. Bad break outs under the lip area means a lot of inflammation and secondary infection of the skin. This area of skin drains into submental lymph node which is under the chin. So when you have infection of the skin over this area the submental lymph node enlarges. Once the infection subsides gradually the lymph node also regresses.

Hope this helped,
Take care.
