Are The Following MRI And CT Scan Reports Normal?

I am 44 years old and had an MRI today after a CT Scan found a CSF density area on the left frontal lobe. Today the MRI came back: Focal prominent CSF high left frontal lobe seen best on series 3 image and 15 mm arachnoid cyst high left frontal lobe. Is all this normal?12

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The report of arachnoid cyst is not normal, and the same should be co-related with the history and neurologic examination findings of the patient to guide precisely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
