Are The Dry Mucus Membranes The Cause For Dryness In Throat And Blood In Mucus?
I have been on ATB therapy and currently on steroids. My problem is my throat is so dry I feel like my throat wants to close at times. I had some blood in some mucus. Hard to get anything up. Sleep under a ceiling fan, could I have dry mucus membranes? If so how can I get moisture in the air.

there can be various causes for this blood in mucus including reactivation of the TB. you can try steam inhalation for the dryness, but please meet your physician as soon as possible. thanks
