Are Swollen Optic Nerves The Cause For Vision Loss?
My daughter over the last three years has lost sight in both eyes, she has had multi mri which show normal. This started with a fall and headaches, we had a her eyes checked and was told her optic nerves were swollen. We cannot after seeing multi doctors and neurologist can get any answers, there are other symtoms as well. Just need some answers?...

This is obviously caused by swelling of optic nerve and this is not usual condition especially in this age. There may be some neurological disorders such as miastenia, multiple sclerosis and these should be ruled out.
