Last Friday i noticed that I had swollen glands in my neck and jaw on my left side. They were very swollen and tender to the touch. I was prescribed amoxicillin on Saturday. That same day I got my hair colored and used the same dye that I have been using for years. My forehead got slightly red and irriated. Later that day I developed about 4 sores on my scalp (near my hairline) on the left had side of my scalp and a sunburn looking rash all over my forehead. Today is Wednesday and while my swollen glands seem to have gone down signficantly the sores on my scalp and sunburn appearance have not gone away. I went to a doctor yesterday who could not determine the cause (and while he could not rule out shingle did not believe it was). My forehead and scalp hurt at times (feel like they are burned and or tight). Any idea if the swollen glands and the sores are related or whether the dye caused the sores and the sunburn appearance on my forehead?
