Good day doctors, am 33 years, Us shows a bulky uterus with AP diameter of 6.4cm and echo pattern is largely homogeneous, the myometrium is expanded by intramural solid tissue masses with mixed echo texture and AP diameter of 1.7cm in the anterior fundal wall and 1.8cm in the posterior fundal wall. Hi,

Uterine intramural and submucosal fibroid are the causes of lower abdominal heavyness, pain, menorrhagia, abnormal uterine bleeding. or simply may remain as it is or may enlarge.

If uterus is bulky with multiple fibroid , in appropriate clinical setting, may require hysterectomy.
