Are Side Effects Mandatory Post Intake Of I Pill?

Hi I had sex with my guy on 28th of March around 9pm but he dint cum in me. Still for precautions I took ipill on 29th March night around 10pm. But I don t have abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding after taking pill. My next period due is on 11 April. Is pill working for me? Is side effects mandatory? Is there any chance of pregnancy?

Hello. This is Dr. Praveen and I will be answering your question today.

There will be no chance of pregnancy since you took the ipill on time. Moreover, your partner is certain he didnt ejaculate into you (which is actually a weak relying factor). Side effects are not mandatory. You shouldnt be worried. On the other hand, may i take the liberty to inform you both that you should switch to a more reliable way to prevent unwanted pregnancies as you are sexually active.

Wishing you good health. Please feel free to drop in any more queries if need be.
Warm regards,
Dr Praveen Jeyapathy
