General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The tuberculosis and pneumonia can spread by respiratory route by inhalation. You both need to be cautious and avoid direct cough exposure from him. Drink more water and take balanced diet to maintain immunity. Wash hands frequently with soap and water. He needs to take medicine regularly for pneumonia to kill causative organism in him and so prevention of further exposure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
