Are Sensitive, Swollen Testicles After Hernia Operation Normal?

I had a hernia operation eight weeks ago (left side) and I still have swollen testicles which hurt and it is very sensitive in that area. When can I expect this pain and swelling to dissipate? Is there something you can suggest the alleviate these symptons.

Hello
Thanks for query.
It is common to get testicular swelling after Hernia surgery .It is due to trauma to the testicle while separating hernial sac from the testicle.

It gets resolved gradually over a period of 2-3 months.

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.
