Are Red Spots On The Breast In An Elderly Person Fatal?

My breasts have gotten larger, without reason. They also have a spotted, reddish appearance, I have not noticed before. My breasts have always been penduless & the left one is achy. I am a 77 yr old woman, have had 4 children. I stopped mammograms at age 65. Any information would be grateful Thanks

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should get done repeat mammography to rule out any possibility of malignancy because breast cancer is more prevalent after the age of 70 years.
If mammography is normal then no need to worry much.
Consult dermatologist for ref spots. This might be due to skin aging.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
