Are Red Splotches All Over The Body Due To Levaquin?

I have a sinus infection and have been prescribed doxycycline for it - I think I may be allergic to Levaquin as the last time I used it, I had red splotches alll over but not sure if it was from Levaquin or something else - thinking about trying Levaquin again but if I am allergic to it, what would it do? pj jones

Good day and thank you for posting this question. Doxycycline is different from Levaquin. Yes, the red splotches are due to Allergy to Levaquin, so I will suggest you do not use it again. Doxycycline is a good alternative. I hope it helps.
