Are Potassium Supplements Advisable For Potassium Deficiency?
I have been told by my physician that I have hypertension d/t a low potassium level but I am prescribed lisonopril for my DBP runs in the 90 s. Potassium level are usually 3.2-3.6 on all of my blood tests. Should I take an OTC potassium supplement?
I suggest you to eat food rich in potassium like bananas, oranges, apricots, grapefruit (some dried fruits, such as prunes, raisins, and dates, are also high in potassium) Potatoes. Sweet potatoes.Mushrooms. Peas. Cucumbers.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
