Are Painful Ulcer On Tongue And Red Mark On Leg Due To Drinking Alcohol?
I've woken this morning with a painful ulcer on my tongue (very swollen too) and a red mark on my leg.....not sure whether its just blotching or a rash.......its not hot, itchy or sore to touch but very red and prominent. are these symptoms related in any way to my drinking alcohol last night?
I can understand your concern. The swollen tongue and rash on leg can be due to allergic reaction that can be controlled by antihistamine such as Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) or Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5 days.
The ulcer on the tongue can be due to Vitamin B complex deficiency which can be treated by vitamin B complex deficiency. You should start taking B-Folcin once a day for a month. In addition, you should apply local Benzocaine gel (Mucopain) over the ulcer 3-4 times in a day for faster healing and relief in pain. None of these issues seem to be related with the alcohol ingestion.
