General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to suggest some tests:
1. ECG
2. Lipid Profile
3. Complete Blood Count
4. Fasting Blood Sugar
5. Morning Blood Pressure of 3 consecutive days
6. Western Blot for Lyme disease (two-tier testing)

As you already gave history, I would like to suggest some treatment so that you get some relief. Although, I strongly suggest you do the tests.
My recommended Tests are:
1. Acetaminophen
2. Gabapentine.
3. Doxycycline

The above treatment will give you much relief. The tests above will give specific points which will allow any doctor to give you next course of treatment if it is needed. Do not worry, you are under a very good treatment. I have arranged the treatment plan in a way that you are protected from all angles.

In the meantime, I also suggest you to follow these:

Eat a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protein to keep nerves healthy. Protect against vitamin B-12 deficiency by eating meats, fish, eggs, low-fat dairy foods and fortified cereals. If you're vegetarian or vegan, fortified cereals are a good source of vitamin B-12, but talk to your doctor about B-12 supplements.

Exercise regularly. With your doctor's OK, try to get at least 30 minutes to one hour of exercise at least three times a week. Avoid factors that may cause nerve damage, including repetitive motions, cramped positions, exposure to toxic chemicals, smoking and overindulging in alcohol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
