Are Numbness And Tingling In Fingers Indicative Of Strained Muscles?

I ve been doing some construction work, for a few days, in the cold (20s) that I don t usually do. Now I m experiencing numb, tingling, pain in my right, middle finger and thumb. I didn t hit, pinch or injure it in any way that I can recall and never got excessively cold. I m not sure if I strained muscles, pinching nerves or if it is something else.
