Are My HG Level And WBC In Below Report Normal?
I am a 45 year old female, I have had severe fatigue, muscle aches and Right knee swelling that has been ongoing. This started in May this year. I feel better and then it hits me again after periods of feeling well. I have had a total of 3 episodes since May. I have persistent fatigue and right knee achiness. I have seen a hematologist for a low WBC of 3., I also have baseline Thalassemia, that time my Hg was 10.3 and Hct was 32.9. I was referred to a Rheumatoligst after having an equivocal ANA with a RNP of 119. Now I have no answers yet, still waiting for my RNP level and c3,c4,ch50 complement results. My ANA this time was negative. My Lymphocyte level dropped to 16%, but my total WBC increased to 4.6. My Hg is lower @ 10. and HCT is now 30.9 just 5 weeks later. I did have a drop in my platelets as well from 278 to 175. Very confused, eager for answers, I am an RN so I know some things but even my Rheumatolgist seemed a bit baffled. Thank you

If you have butterfly rash, fever, arthralgias, headache, seizures you are very likely to have lupus ! Check ANA again and ds DNA, also check Rheuma factor and anti-CCP, check CRP and ESR . Your blood constellation shows some form of active lupus- lowering Hgb, Platelets etc.
