Are Multiple Hepatomegaly And Multiple Mesenteric Lymph Nodes In A Child With Abdominal Pain A Concern?

Multiple Hepatomegaly and multiple mesenric lymph node s. Mantoux test result is 14mm.positively diagnosed for my 7 yrs child.. He has acute abdominal pain all the time 24×7. Medicine are not working. Is this very serious. How and where he be treated. Any advice for his pain relief.

welcome to hcm...your child is suffering from abdominal TB ..he needs antituberculosis drugs ..please talk to your local doctor..if you are in india these are given free of cost at all govt health centres ...usually drugs are given first and and are effective in maojirity of patients but surgery is needed in a few cases ..for pain higher painkillers and antispasmodic may be used as diclofenic tramadolol buscopan drotoverine ...as these are prescription drugs please contact your local doctor he will prescribe some..
