Are Multiple Concussions And Chronic Small Vessel Ischemia Interrelated?

What, if any, is the relationship between multiple concussions, chronic small vessel Ischemia? - as it relates to decreased brain awareness and depression? - as it relates to age? Background - I am a 66 year old senior, with a long (40+ yr) history of depression and multiple sports related concussions dating back 50 +/- years. In Feb of this year I had an MRI specifically to rule out retrocochlear lesion. The report states Differential includes age-related change, chronic small vessel ischemia, demyelination or a combination thereof. ,
