Are Mouth Sores, Constant Bowel Movements And Fatigue Symptoms Of HIV Infection?

Hello ...recently I had sex with a prostitute but I was sure I was double protected but we kissed passionately, only for her to confess that she was HIV positive after a couple of day ..at that point I was currently on anti biotic treatment for typhiod fever and malaria which I had on my recent trip..I went for test a couple of days after and it came out negative but now I have mouth sore and constant bowel moment and fatigue that all ...but no other symtoms I read online about symtoms of the virus .what do I do am so scared..to even go for a second test

Hi,

Noted your history about having protected sex with a prostitute but has intimate kissing, was already under treatment for Typhoid and Malaria, developed mouth sores and constant bowel movements.
Surely you may be scared as the lady confessed that she is HIV positive and hence the anxiety.
Well, first of all consult a HIV center as they can counsel you, take appropriate tests and give your ART therapy for HIV if they feel so.
Stop worrying.
Also take opinion of your regular Physician for typhoid and other medical problems so that you can have additional investigations and get treated as per the findings.
Take probiotics.
Loose stools can be due to IBS as you have anxiety.
Also show the moth sores to see for the cause and get treated as advised.
