Are Mild Abdominal Cramps And Vaginal Spotting The Symptoms Of Miscarriage?

Hi Am 5 weeks 1 day pregnant today, I went in to see a health care provider due to heavy feeling, pressure mild cramps and small brown discharge seen on toilet paper after wiping. The nurse practioner found a clot at the cervix. She removed it and send it to the lab. She also did an internal ultrasound which did not show anything but a thicken area. Am waiting for hcg level. My healthcare provider said she is 80% sure that I am going to miscarriage

I think It is most common due to Miscarriage at 5 week.

Following are the causes of your problem:
1. Miscarriage
2. Molar pregnancy
3. Pre eclampsis
4. Vaginal infections
5. Cervical patholgy
6. Ectopic pregnancy

Miscarriage mainly due to hormonal imbalance, excessive stress, alcohol and smoking, some infections, chromosomal anomalies.

For management consult the gynecologist
They will do USg
Main aim of management is to prevent the excessive bleeding and infcetion
They will provide
Prostaglandins
Antibiotics
Fluid therapy
Pain killer
And if necessary will do D & C procedure to remove remaining produce
