Are Medicines Of Aggressive Infection Harmful In Pregnancy?

I am 16 weeks pregnant and have a particularly aggressive UTI infection for which I was prescribed 3 medications: candid pessares v3 200mg (once per day insertion), zinnat 500mg tablets (twice a day) and Nitrofuratoin 100mg (once per day). I am concerned about possible side effects to my child. Are these medicines safe both individually and taken together like this?

Hi thanks for question,since you are having aggressive UTI infection you need to take all these medication as per your doctor instructions.these antibiotics appropriate to the mother and fetus.you should take complete traetment until UTI subsides.The effect on the baby differs between medicines and also depends on the stage of pregnancy that you have reached when you take the medicine.zinnat, you should only take this medicine during pregnancy if your doctor thinks that you need it.candid pessares do not use in 1st 3months of pregancy,since you are in 2nd trimester you can use as per your doctor instructions.These medicine are not expected to be harmful to an unborn baby during early pregnancy,but you will get side effects like vomiting,diarrhoea,nausea
