Are Lumps On Thigh Normal To Occur During An Injury?
My son (age 10) wrecked bicycle on a jump. Left a bruise that encompassed majority of his thigh. A large lump was originally in the center of the bruising. Coloring is nearly normal now (4weeks ago), lump has been replaced with a tender, pitted area about the size of an avocado. Is this pitting normal?
Hi, It seems that there might be having big hematoma and now it regressed and encapsulated, forming localized lump. Apply ice pack for few days. Apply Thrombophob cream. If there is no improvement then consult your doctor. Perhaps aspiration of blood might require. Ok and take care.
