Are Involuntary Jerking Of Body And Loss Of Consciousness Signs Of Seizure?

My body is hot but I am freezing cold, it has been like this for a while now. Today I started feeling weird and my body started to feel tense and I began jerking and my hands felt locked up and I think I lost conscious for a minute or so. Was this a mild seizure? What could be the cause?

It is almost certain that it is a seizure and that you have epilepsy. Go and consult your doctor or a neurologist immediately
