Pediatrician 's  Response
there is a infection probably viral based on the generalized symptoms. this could be gastroenteritis or some sort of glandular fever. needs to be followed carefully. he needs to be examined further if he has any of the following symptoms in addition to the above complaints. persistent fever, vomiting esp if it is continuous reduced urine output, neck stiffness, red rashes on the body, drowsiness reduced urine output. ensure he drinks fluids adequately and passes urine normally . check his temparature every sixth hourly and tepid sponge him. is he allergic to ibuprofen?. but if you notice any of the red flag signs above rush to a nearby emergency now
