Are Green Stools And An Upset Stomach Symptoms Of An Underlying Disease?

I'm a healthy 69 yr old male, not on any significant meds except a few vitamins, baby aspirin every other day, and Viagra as needed. :)
I had a slightly queasy stomach and then an unexpected green stool, formed, not loose. Does this indicate anything?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Green stool may be due to eating green leafy vegetables or food additives that contain green additives. Other possibilities like gallbladder or liver problems or irritable bowel syndrome or IBD etc. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid lactose contain food and gluten contain food. Until symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
