Hi I had a loop diathermy done last Tuesday and have had weird tummy feelings (like a washing machine ) and I ve been needing the bathroom more often my tummy also feels empty like when your hungry and feels a little bloated every now and then is this normal

Diathermy does not cause any discomfort.Bloating is due to gas formation in the intestines. If it increases and discomfort becomes very severe, you should see your doctor, who will do a Ultrasound scan of abdomen. That will give an idea about the cause of the bloating and further treatment will depend on the report.
