Are Excessive Screaming And Black Specks On The Roof Of The Mouth A Concern?

I have an 8 month old and I gave him lasagna for the first time last night and he screamed all night and has been screaming off and on all day. He never acts like this. I also noticed some black specks in the roof of his mouth. What s wrong with my baby?

Hello and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor" service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
An infant may cry(or scream) if he is too cold, too hot, ill; has a soiled or wet diaper, hungry or thirsty, eyelash in the eye, hair coiled tightly around a finger or toe, failure to answer the child's needs for comfort, love, and security, or as a result of trauma.
One cannot always find the reason for a child's crying.
I am unable to say what is the cause of the black specks on roof of mouth.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
