Are Ear Pain, Nose Pain And Throat Pain Symptoms Of Laryngopharyngeal Reflux?

Hi, I just went to a Ear, Nose & Throat for sharp needle like pains and lite burning in throat. This pain has moved around to lower neck area to side of neck and even a sharp pain in the ear. The Dr. said she couldn t find and thing in my throat but diagnosed me with Laryngopharyngeal Reflux. I really feel that it is something else maybe even worse. What do you think it is? And should I get a second opinion?

Pain starting in throat then involving nose and ear, i think you have URI . Infection in throat can ascend towards nose and ear, If i have to treat such a patient i will advice some tests hb, tlc , dlc , esr, xray paranasal sinuses. If i have to treat such a patient i will advice tab amoxy 625 twice a day , tab levofloxacin 500mg one tab a day tab metronidazole 400 twice a day tab wikoryl three times a day, steam inhalation , otrivin nasal drops four times a day.
