Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

DDAVP (desmopressin) tablets are a synthetic replacement for antidiuretic hormone. The drug replaces the hormone for that night with no cumulative effect. The oral form is considered safer.Tablet Minrin (Desmopressin-once a day at bedtime) is safe. Begin dosing with 0.05 mg. Careful fluid intake restrictions in children is required to prevent hyponatremia and water intoxification.

Tolterodine and Desmopressin work better in full treatment of enuresis in comparison with Desmopressin alone.
The combination (Desmopressin + Tolterodine-2 mg of Tolterodine tablet plus 0.05 mg Desmopressin oral) can be used for children suffering from enuresis with high efficacy and minimal side effects.
