Are Dizziness And Sinus Infection Symptoms Of Vertigo?

Had a little vertigo about a month ago. Nothing major but I still have some dizziness if I look up or down. Now I feel like I have either a cold, flu or sinus infection. Went to a dr right after the vertigo and he checked my ears and sinuses which showed nothing. Is it possible that I got an infection now.
