Are Dizziness And Blackouts Signs Of Epilepsy?

I had five attack within six months. I would faint, ive been dizzy for almost a year, everyday, ive gone to the neurologist and one Dr. said they don t know what is wrong with me, so I transfer to another neurologist and that Dr. said that my EEG test came back abnormal with signs of epilepsy and prescribe me with antiSeizure medication but I have not taken it. What do you think I could be going through?

Well, since I'm the doctor who has not even SEEN or EXAMINED you in any way that is even CLOSE to what those doctors did.....so I'd be inclined to believe the guy HOLDING the EEG results in his hand. Of course, if you've got any trepidation about the validity of the EEG results...and I can understand why you may feel slightly confused at this point then, you could ask to be referred or just pick one more who is actually an EPILEPTOLOGIST who would likely ask to see the results of the EEG obtained by Doctor #2 and quite possibly perform an additional confirmatory study referred to as either a PROLONGED 60 min. EEG monitor or a 60 min. prolonged SLEEP DEPRIVED study in order to get another person into the mix to consider since that doctor will have to make the score 2-1 either in favor of "not having anything" or having "epilepsy"....right? Then, you'll really have your answer. Or just go with what Doctor #2 said and start taking the system before you pass out and fall some more which could be pretty dangerous depending on what you were doing or where you were when the episode struck, right? You can still go see the 3rd doctor but at least you'd be protected (assuming Doc #2 is correct).....Please rate this as a 5 STAR ENCOUNTER and write to me at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi with more questions or with an uploaded PDF file of the EEG report that shows abnormal findings.
