Are Diarrhea, Lower Back Pain And Headache Symptoms Of Kidney Infection?

I have been under the weather since Sunday. I had diarrhea, queezyness, but no throwing up. My lower back is achy and I have had a slight headache for several days. I am very very tired. The diarrhea only lasted one day. I have no appetite which is unusual for me. Do you think it could be a kidney infection?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The symptoms what you have described to have like diarrhea, low back ache and headache are not due to problems associated with kidneys.
It is mainly due to infective diarrhea caused due to bacterial infection.
Kindly take a course of antibiotics containing Ciprofloxacin with Tinidazole combination along with Tablet Paracetamol.
Keep yourself well hydrated by consuming good quantity of fluids and Oral Rehydration Solution.
Your symptoms should gradually subside.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
