General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The tightness in chest and nausea is most likely related to gastritis or acid reflux associated with the drug in terms of antibiotic for sore throat.

* Primary care with diet precautions to avoid spices, intake of proton pump inhibitor as omeprazole on empty stomach resolve most of the instances.

* In case, it persists beyond 2 days of practicing above, consult your physician but do not scare at this time for being desert fever possibility.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
