Hello

Thanks for writing to health care magic. I am Dr Laxmikant Desai answering your question. Celiac disease and IBS can have many common symptoms. So it is essential to rule out Celiac if symptoms are persisting with the treatment of IBS or if you have alarm symptoms like anemia (low Hb), weight loss or anorexia. I would suggest you to get IgA Anti TTG - a blood test to rule out Celiac. But mind you IBS is far more common than celiac disease.

Take care
