Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Antihistamines syrup like cetirizine can be given but doses are according to the age of the kids.Usual dose given is 2.5mg once a day for less than 5 years old and 5mg once a day for greater than 5 years old. This is available over the counter. You can apply histocalamine lotion locally oon rashes also. But if rash is more then better to consult your doctor as a short course of corticosteroid like prednisolone will be needed.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
