Hi I am 28 weeks pregnant, fetus has a single umbilical artery. In my recent sonography it showed that baby s weights is 1kg...rest everything is normal.. while my doctr said baby s weight at this stage should be around 1.3kg. So she prescribed me some new medicines namely TORCHNIL, SUJAT, ALIVHER (25mgl, MN, LOBET(100) Are these medicines safe? And what r the use of these medicines?

Hello,

It would be best if you could eat well & the weight would increase naturally. At 28 week, there is no vomiting; try eating healthy nutritious food rich in calcium & protein.

Take berries, fruits & veggies. Torchnil corrects oxidative damage at placental level, Sujat also corrects oxidative damage. You can get USG (uterus done for fetal well being), to rule out any placental damage.

If you are not hypertensive you may not take the other two medicines. You should not take Sildenafil(Alivher). To help increase in weight stay away from anxiety & stress, stay happy, eat well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
