Are Pan D And Bro Zedex Right Medications For Prolonged Cough?

Hello Doctor, my name is Neena, age 52 yrs, Indian. For past 2 months I had cough for which I took some OTC medicine but no relief; afterwards on recommendation of ENT Surgeon I am taking PAN-D (before b fast) daily and a dry cough syrup (sugar free) - Bro Zedex and also a wet cough syrup. I am a diabetic, BP patient. But relief is very less. Is it right prescription or should you recommend some other prescription ? Thanks.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, certain thing you really need to do is investigations if the cough symptom is since 2 moths then it is time to investigate it, x-ray, blood test needed, if you are on anti-hypertensive then it could be due to this too, because certain drug cause dry cough (ACE inhibitors) you have to go through these and it need to be managed accordingly else such chronic cough must not be treated symptomatically, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
