General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi mam,
Wish to have your dream become real soon.
You said that you are prescribed with
1.Doxycycline which is an antibiotic used for counteracting bacterial infections. Some studies declaring that there are changes noted in normal cycles but none of the studies give any evidence of the drug affecting conception and
2. Ranitidine- prescribed to overcome gastric complications following antibiotics. Usually there is no effect on the fertilization and conception by this drug.
Finally I glad to say that you don't need to worry about your prescription drugs in the line of pregnancy. Hope you are happy with the answer.
