Are Meftal The Right Medication For Stomach Pain And Spasms During Periods?
Hi..I usually have stomach pain and spasms during the fist day of my period and take about 3 tablets of meftal spas every month during my period to reduce the pain. Can you please let me know if there will be any side effect of it in the long run. Also will there be any issues due to this if i want to conceive later.

Meftal saps is anti inflammatory and anti spasmodic medication. There is no major side effects. It causes following minor side effects like: diarrhea, nausea, acidity.
You can check kidney damage by urea and creatinine level. If you have kidney damage you have to avoid it. Regular check up of kidney is needed in future to avoid complication. It has no effects on fertility or conception
