Hi,

Lyrica is an anti-epileptic drug used to treat leg pain in various neuropathy disorders. As patients with leg pain are restless and cannot sleep, we prescribe medications such as Diazepam to ease the pain and their mind putting in sleep.

Yes, it is an addiction as a side effect of taking Diazepam, but we should put in a balance the benefits and side effects. You can also change to another medication at the same time.

Should take this combination before bedtime to avoid becoming tired during the daytime.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
