Are Flonase And Loratadine Right Medication For Allergic Rhinitis?
I have allergic rhinitis. The dry cough and severe coughing from irritation has made my diaphragm sore. I know this is common, but when I experience a hard coughing spell now, it is acutely painful under the last rib. It feels like a knife. I am taking Flonase and Loratadine once daily.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your history of allergic rhinitis for which Loratidine and flonase are the best medicines. Your history of severe cough may be due to allergic bronchitis or asthma for which you need to take additional bronchodilators like Deriphyllin or so and oral steroids when the need may be. Your third problem is related to the kitting pain in the lower ribs which can be due to chondritis or real fracture of the ribs. Get an X-ray to confirm and strapping to enhance the breathing.
