General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
What medications has been prescribed for your baby seems to be right.
Crocin syrup contains Paracetamol, which an antipyretic and would help to reduce the temperature.
Domstal contains domperidone, which is an antiemetic and would help to overcome vomiting.
Nutrolin B is a vitamin B complex preparation.
The response to the medication, particularly paracetamol depends on the cause for fever. If is viral fever, it would be self limiting, temperature should start decreasing following medication and fever should subside in about 3 days. In case the temperature remains to be high after 3 days, the cause for fever needs to be investigated by means of blood and urine investigations. Depending on the report, appropriate medication can be administered and could be treated.
Keep the child well hydrated and give bland semi-solid diet until recovery. Kindly consult your doctor for further follow-up accordingly.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
