Are Baby ASA And Plavix Advisable For A Heart Attack Sustained Person?
Hello! My fiancé had a heart attack at 37. It has been almost a year. We can no longer afford all of the medications plus his cardiologist mentioned that he would not have to remain on all of them after a year. Of the following which would be most beneficial if his cholesterol is under 100, low BP and low pulse. He never took meds before and since has felt sluggish and perhaps worse than he should. He has Plavix, Lipitor, Lisinopril, metoprolol, baby ASA, Vit D 2000, and a probiotic. I was thinking baby ASA, and Plavix.

after a heart attack patient have to take some drugs for lifelong.as it has been almost one year he can stop either Plavix or baby asa. but one of them he have to continue lifelong. despite normal cholesterol level he has to continue Lipitor lifelong because it prevents blockage of blood vessels of heart. despite low pulse and blood pressure Lisinopril and metoprolol have to continue long term as they reduced workload on your heart and improve the function of heart.he can stop vitamin d and probiotics. better to meet your cardiogist and discuss, if you are unaffordable he may prescribe low cost brands of these drugs or refer him to government hospital clinic.
