HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is not the infection condition then taking anti-biotic is not good, without the advised of doctor taking antibiotic may be harmful, (Azithromycin) most of the time such throat condition is due to allergic condition and antihistamine would be enough to treat this, but better to see the doctor if you have not consulted yet, if this is the really infection then let the doctor judge which anti-biotic need to be given and for how many days and in what dosage hope this information helps.
