Hi & Welcome. Incomplete data like age, gender, purpose of taking these medications, any associated symptoms, lab tests, etc??
Methimazole is an anti-thyroid medication used in the treatment of hyperthyroidism (excess production of thyroid hormones or "hyperactive thyroid gland").
Atenolol is a selective beta1 blocker that may be used to treat the tachycardia, palpitation and high BP associated with hyperthyroidism.
None of these medications are used for "Inactive thyroid".
